| Students leave school at the end of Afternoon Tutorial everyday. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this is at 3:25pm. On Tuesday this is at 2:20pm. On Friday this is at 3:15pm. |

Hours in the School Day at Whitley Bay High School
The total time the school is in compulsory operation is 32 hours and 30 minutes. Additional to this, our extensive extracurricular programme operates before school, during school and after school every day.
